Many people, especially ladies who care about fashion trends most likely have run into a situation where they saw a celebrity wearing a cool accessory, but had a hard time to find it (or at least to find something similar) in any store. If you are one of them, you probably have tried online shopping to spot the item, although convenient, the hunting process could be boring and tedious. Ryan Inc's new Likeness search technology comes in to rescue you from browsing tens or hundreds of pages of online catalogs.

Like Visual Search lets you browse through images of celebrities and click their highlighted accessories including wrist watches, earrings, sunglasses, shoes, dresses, shirts, and etc. You will then be brought to a new page with a list of similar items (or if you're lucky, you'll see the exact item) listed on several online stores. If you are not satisfied with the default search result, you can customize your search by adjusting several search parameters such as weight of the three aspects (color, shape and pattern), price range, brand, materials, and etc.
Overall Like Visual Search is fun and easy to use. Even though it's at its alpha stage, the site is almost fully functional, except the function which let you do a more detailed search by focusing on a particular area of an accessory. I hope to see the folks at Ryan Inc to fix that function and make it working in the beta version.
